Do you think animals kept in zoos would be happier if they lived in the wild in their natural habitat? I used to think so. But then I thought: what would they be doing outside that they aren't already doing inside the zoo? They would just be running about, doing the same thing they already are. It's not like they're going to go surfing or get to play x-box. In fact they are well fed in the zoos, kept safe from their natural predators, and the monkeys even have tires hanging from trees that they can swing on.
Are animals better off in the wild rather than in zoos?
