It seems more and more that amps are claiming to drive certain more power than they can deliver. Even the ones that are CEA compliant they still claim more.
For example that top amps that I was accustomed to being top amps are
Soundstream
PPI
Fosgate
Orion
HiFonics
ADS
US Amps
But most of these amps seem to be junk or over rated for the exception of Orion and HiFonics.
Why are the manufactures claiming more power.
