socialism is good for america? obama is all about big government and the government controlling every aspect of our lives and taxing every thing he can think of and spending trillions of dollars that our kids,kids are going to have to pay back are you worried yet?
 
Socialism is good for America... in small doses. Socialism is how we maintain our infrastructure, provide law enforcement and firefighters, and pay for public education. I believe you have been blinded by biased conservative media if you believe anything socialist is wrong.
 
Yes...everyone here should be worried sick! The biased media has prevented us from knowing all the facts, just what they perceive to be
helpful to THEIR agenda. You can't believe what they preach. Use your brain and understand you cannot ignore your principles and give up your freedom here for what a politician promises you. Obama is undermining all our freedoms and putting this nation in debt for HIS liberal agenda, not for the good of this country. Wake up!!

Didn't seem to bother Republicans when George Bush was spending hundreds of billions of dollars on a false war for the profit of his friends, and the wealthy elite.

I guess killing people that disagree with you means more than offering your fellow citizens health care.
 
1. Obama doesn't want to control every aspect of our lives. You are being blinded by Fox News.
2. How many trillions so far? 1.8 something? Are you using the plural term in your RANT because you want to scare people?
3.We had a trillion dollar deficit when Bush was in office. Why didn't you complain then? We've had a trillion dollar deficit for a good while, even before Bush and Clinton, so you're not really being constructive by complaining about "Obama's" deficit.
4. Socialism can easily be reversed. Chapter 7... think about it.
5. Obama is not a socialist. You need therapy...
 
Pure socialism isn't on the table; the people who keep telling you the media are socialists, or that our government is now run by socialists are hate-mongering liars.

People who have brains and use them realize that a mixed economy is better for everyone.

It's not Obama who thinks he has the right to tell people whom to marry, or what to read; it's the wing-nuts of the right who do.

Obama is about effective government.

Much of what he's spending will be paid back, with interest (some of what he spent on bailouts has been paid back, with interest). When the economy is sound, government will bring in more revenue, and that's the time to pound down the debt -- which is exactly what Dubya refused to do, choosing to put us in record-breaking debt (the previous debt record-breaker being Reagan).

I'm vastly less worried now than when under the previous administration. Instead of making everything worse, Obama is trying to make everything better.
 
I am not an Obama fan, but it seems that you fail to see that Bush also grew the government exponentially and spent like a drunken sailor. Why wasn't there an outcry when Bush was President? The first bailout was his baby.
 
Or maybe Wall Street and big businesses are so greedy and so anti-lower and middle class that people would rather have social democracy (NOT socialism) instead of capitalism.

Here's a novel idea: If you want to save capitalism, maybe you should try reforming it instead of trying to scapegoat liberals.

Because, frankly, scapegoating ain't working anymore!
 
Do you realize how far off center you are politically? The people of the United States of America are not blinded. The news media has a very good track record for verification of source material and confirmation of facts.

You say America but speak of the United States and United Statesians. The US is not even a third of America. Get over your delusions of grandeur and face reality. Look at a map.
 
Socialism is what got us to the moon. Socialism is what won WWII. Socialism is what made us the greatest scientists in the world, until Reagan moved in and the MBA's took over. Now what do we have? We are a nation of burger flippers and landscapers. Thanks so much, capitalists.
