H Hist308 Guest Dec 3, 2008 #2 Yeah there are mobile athlon processors. The most common line is the Turion X2. Most processors for both intel and amd exist in both a Mobil and Desktop format. You cant use desktop in a laptop and vise versa. They are a different size and "socket"
