Are alpine mrp-m500 amps good for kicker 12" L7 2ohm subs?

So my setup before was 2 12" type r's, but they blow way too easily. I'm going to 12" kicker L7 2ohm subs and was wondering are MRP-M500's sufficient for these? I know they do 500W rms and the kickers need 750W, but underpowering a little shouldnt be a problem, right? also is it going to be loud still? Thanks guys
