Im not sure if i will put one i my fish tank. I heard it causes stress. Doesn't the filter provide enough oxygen? or do u think i should only turn it on for a certain amount of hours per day?

you should always have your filter running, but some external filters don't break the surface of the water enough to put enough oxegen into the water and you get a film on the top of the water but even if you just got a small air pump would be fine just to give it that little extra help.

They really help your out fish too much. I'd always go with at least one. There are very many ways to diffuse the oxygen smoothly and evenly so as not to stress the fish: different size air stones, bubble wands, and even certain ornaments. A nice rear wall cascade of fine bubbles usually means a very healthy tank. You should always leave your filter on.

depends on your fish. if your fish is too small for your aquarium then its necessary but if your aquarium is too big for your fish, then its not needed..
