As an active duty service member you cant endorse any thing that people would assume the service is endorsing. As mundane as the things you are talking about to you are, everything would have to be cleared. You are restricted from profiting as an active duty member from knowledge obtained from being privy to military training. I would recommend either waiting or Ghost writing and if the book takes off not mentioning your the author until you get out. Just to let you know, if you do get rich while in the service they will most likely try and push you out. Years ago I had a guy in my unit won the lottery they pit him out, good conduct discharge, but still out.
