Are '93 Honda Civic Lx parts interchangeable with the '96 Honda Civic Ex?

I recently crashed my 96 Honda Civic Ex and my boyfriend has a '93 Honda Civic Lx... I was wondering if some of the parts would be interchangeable? Like the spark plugs, power steering holder, the rear brakes? I just don't want to part out the parts that would fit his car..

I have tried to look the answer to this up, but I have had no luck....
