Permitted on sidewalk in _____________(Insert county, state here) are pedestrians, and bicycles only. No motorized vehicles of any variety, in any engine size or configuration are allowed since they are MOTORIZED. Of course they are not street legal either since they do not maintain the basic safety functions. End result, only one happy guy and that is the one collecting the cash at the beginning of the transaction.
