First of all, no that is a bad idea. It will be too complicated to wire and set up unless you really know what you're doing. Second, when you say your subwoofers comps are 1500 watts each, I'm assuming you mean the kicker 12" CVX? Because kicker comp subwoofers are only 300 watts (max). Anyways, when you look at subwoofer ratings, do NOT look at the max wattage of a sub, look at the RMS value. SO, kicker CVX subs are 750RMS a piece. Anyways, make sure if you have the 2ohm versions, wire them in series/parallel for a 1.33 ohm impedenece load. If you have the 4 ohm versions, wire them in series/parallal for a 2.67 ohm impedence load. Take a look at these pictures - http://mobile.jlaudio.com/support_pages.php?page_id=161 (3rd one down on the left). That is how you wire your subs. Now, you will need an amp rated over 2000RMS x1 @ your designated impedenece load. If you are running you subs at 1.33 ohms, I would recommend a Kole TRAX1-4000D mono amp. (I have a kole amp running two of my kicker CVR's and i love it). If you are running the 2.67 ohm load, I'd recommend a Power Acoustik LFA1-5500D amp. Those amps would suit the subs well depending on how you have your subs wired. (both amps are soft of cheap, so if you want something with a better name brand, look for similar RMS x 1 @ the ohm ratings. If you need any help feel free to email me. Good Luck!!
