i am thinking about trading my 1998 jeep cherokee sport |6 4.0 with165k on it. and a few little mods like exhaust intake, performance plugs. its over all in pretty good shape no rust or dents, few light scratches, inside is in almost Perfect condition, i would be trading that for a 1999 vw golf mk4 2.0 5 speed, with 140k on it. and is in equal condition as my jeep, reason i want to do this trade is because i want a more small sporty car and something better on gas. and they guy is looking for a larger 4door suv with 4x4 and more room then his golf. neither of the vehicles need any work done to them and both just passed inspection. so would this be a good trade for me? both have the same options power everything, cd player,ac. the golf is also lowered 1.5" with h&r springs.
are 1999 VW golfs good cars?
