So I'm in highschool and this year we will be choosing what direction we're going to lean in. What I mean by this is that we're going to choose biology, chemistry or physics or history or geography, in other words, we'll start to choose what we're going to want to study and what we'll want to work as.
I am generally a very good drawer. I'm not so good at maths - if I try and study hard I'm not that bad, I can catch up, but it's not something I'm naturally good at.
I was thinking of studying to be in architecture and I did some reasearch about it but I can't find any more information. Are there any spheres in architecture? Like, not all architects do the same thing. Is there a job in architecture where you don't need to calculate as much? I'm not into sketching a wall and counting up everything about it, if you get my drift. I probably am looking for something where geometry and maths isn't AS needed.
My second thought was art school but I want a job where i can use my drawing potential. I don't think I'm going to be an artist, it's a difficult job and I want to be financially secure.
So basically what I'm asking is,
1) Any jobs in architecture where math isn't the top priority? I'm really interested in architecture...
2) Any jobs where art is included?
Thank you so much for reading and sorry about my english. It isn't my first language.
Oh yes, and I know languages. English, french, norwegian, a bit of japaense and vietnamese. I'm also quite social so I think these are good attributes for work..
I know it's a bit early to start worrying about this, but I'm just a bit nervous because everyone knows what they want to do but I don't know what I want to do. I'm not interested in anything in school, so I'm going with what I CAN do. And I can draw, i suppose. I enjoy it too.
Okay, I'll shut up. So sorry for wasting your time. xD
