Arai dark smoke visor

Any thoughts on if it's too dark for cloudy days? The whole sunglasses thing is killing me.

Was looking at the light smoke too for my Corsair V but thought it might be too close to the clear.

I have a dark smoke on my Quantum and find it fine for cloudy days. Don't get caught out after sunset though.

I have one for my Corsair as well.-- Very dark!
You get caught wearing it at night you'll be riding with the shield up.

Went for the light and dark, it looks pretty simple to change them out on the Arai so what the hey.

Looks simple but the mounts break easily on the helmet. Be careful.

I've worn both light and dark on my Corsair, I prefer the dark as it has a more polorizing(sp?) effect and easier on the eye's. In truth though, I like the iridium best, but it scratches like crazy no matter how careful you are..

And yes be veeeeeery careful on the tabs, I broke one and it was $65 for a new set..

I just bought a light smoke visor for my arai and have tested it both on a sunny day and at night..is the perfect compromise to swapping visors, works well both in the sun and at night..

I have the dark and the medium tint and I find the dark a little too dark on overcast days the medium tint is better IMO.
