Just watching this on Sky, it's proper giving me the creeps

I don't mind spiders in real life but when they're as huge as some of these babies.....OMG!!

Still, it's not a bad movie, just witing for the bit where you can see the stick shuffed up the spider prop

I loved Arachnophobia but thought Eight Legged Freaks was a big pile of pants.

I think the opposite. Was really disappointed in Arachnophobia but found 8 Legged Freaks very amusing

I had trouble with the way the spider screamed as it attacked.

I remember renting "Arachnophobia" when it came out on video.I thought it was an alright film.I think there is a scene where someone who is dead is sitting there with popcorn & the spider comes out of the persons nose.

I thought "Eight Legged Freaks" was a pretty good film,i know the film gets a mixed reaction.The film is bascially a nod to those B Movies.

Eight Legged Freaks is terrible, very unrealistic and funny as opposed to scary. Arachnaphobia on the other hand gave me nightmares when I first saw it.

Arachnophobia is the only film to make me scream out loud! I saw it when I was younger and the scene where the spider jumps on the old lady's hand from the lamp is terrifying!

Agreed.
Eight Legged Freaks is a great monster movie. It has the right mixture of scares and silliness.
Aracnophobia on the other hand was just bland.
