Has anyone tried this product??

Hi guys, I'm Falcor. I used to post on here a lot years ago, but kind of gave up because I'm almost 27 and my acne hasn't gotten any better.

So, I went to California three weeks ago to visit my mom. She's always been worried about my acne problem (most moms are I guess) and she's always trying to buy me weird products for my face. This time she gave me something called AR Creme, and it's made by those Blue Emu people.

I started using it when I got home. I've been using it for two weeks now, and for two weeks my skin has been completely clear. According to the product website, the main ingredient in this stuff is Sulfur, which is a first for me. Never tried sulfur before.

Anyway, I know it's only been two weeks so maybe I'm jumping the gun, but so far I'm really excited about this stuff because, well, like I said.... not a single breakout for two weeks.

I was just wondering if anybody has ever tried this stuff, or heard of it before.

Thanks guys!

Hi Falcor, I tried this product last year. I had very bad adult cystic acne. And, turns out after using it for 3 weeks, a sensitivity to Sulphur! Bad news for me...I noticed when I used it the first week and a half, that it seemed like things were getting better...but 3 weeks in, my skin wa so red, so soar and it hurt to even get it wet, I went to the dermatologist who did an allergy test for sulphur and thats what was actually making my skin worse.

I gave this product to my friend, who also had some large cysts....it did absolutely nothing for her. She recommended it to several people (before giving up on it) and not one of them liked it. The rotton egg smell alone was horrible- but if you can live with that, its actually for blemished skin which is only on the surface. Deeper, more aggressive cystic acne, this wont touch, because it doesnt penetrate the skin.

I wound up having a laser procedure done over the past 6 months, (4 treatments of photodynamic threapy) and my skin has never looked better! And no more going thru every lotion and potion on the market trying to find one that works, and KEEPS working.

sulphur is used in hundreRAB of products, so its safe for most people, however it is one of those things which can cause sensitivity in some people, so thats why they insist to use this product sparingly. More is NOT better as they say.
Good luck with it.
Nikki
