Hi,
I have a rope fish (snakey looking) a Algae eater, and a aquatic frog and 3 gold fish. I'm moving from North carolina to Alabama that's about 700 miles. I will be driving. Can any body tell me how I can transport my fish safely?? I'm really worried about them not getting enough oxygen during the ride. and my aquarium is a 20 gallon I think, it's fresh water can I just take like 75% of the water out and keep them in the aquarium??? HELP!!!! Thank you.

They should, just keep the ride as smooth as possible. Just half fill the aquarium and put it in a part of the car where it will move the least as well.

That is a hard question... I have no idea.... They do need oxygen but I don't know of any filters that you can plug into those car plug-ins. You should probably ask a fish expert. Not people on yahoo answers. Also, if you can put it near a vent or something because I have heard there is more oxygen in colder water than in warmer water, but don't freeze them.

Well, they should make it. I order fish from California to North Carolina and they come in a bag, in a Styrofoam cooler, in a cardboard box. You could also get a battery powered air pump if you wanted to. The biggest thing is Oxygen and water temperature during the move.
