At schools like Boston College and Georgetown, would it be harder to get accepted into the business program than into the normal school? I have a 2100 SAT and pretty solid GPA but I'm still not sure if I want to go pre-med or business. I don't want to limit my options by applying to the business program for business administration
what if the only reason i want to be in business is to start a business?
ok. thank you.

Don't study business as an undergraduate.

I advise over 2,500 kids every year as part of my job as Admissions & Career Services Advisor for a university transition team. Most of these "starry eyed" kids want to study business as undergraduates with aims of becoming the next Donald Trump or corporate CEO. But the truth of the matter is that undergraduate business studies is a waste of time. Don't do it. Study something else, anything else, perhaps something related to business - like economics, sociology, psychology, mathematics, statistics. Then, when you are finished, you can take an MBA degree.

But, for heaven's sake, don't major in Business as an undergraduate!

EDIT - Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES, should you study business as an undergraduate. As an advisor, I have seen how it has "screwed up" academic careers and future plans. Do NOT DO IT. Do an MBA and do something else as an undergraduate.
