Hello. I am currently a community college student getting ready to transfer to a 4 year college/Business school(Accounting major) in the Fall of 2011. I already know my top choice for a transfer school but I want to prepare myself now all around because I have to apply starting in January 2011(early application) up until March of that year for Fall 2011 admission. I know it's only still 2009 now but I want to start working in a business raleted field starting next summer that way I have some experience on my resume before I actually apply. I've been a nanny for about 4 years now and have committied to work with the current family for another year, ending next summer..making it 2 years overall with them. I love to cook & at one point wanted to be a chef but I realised it wasn't something I wanted to do as a life long career. Anyway, I still like cooking and would be interested in being a personal chef. Would doing that(being my own boss..my own clients etc) be credible enough to boost my application to business school OR would I have to at least work as an intern or something like that at some big company? What do they look at when looking through applications of admission? If anyone knows, please help..any advice will be appreciated. Thanks much!
