apple users can you convince me to buy a macbook?

i'm a mac user...at work. but i love coming home to my custom computer running Linux 2.6.31
in short as a mac user i will not convince you to waste your money on one.
 
I'm looking for a laptop for college and I've always been a pc user, but i've decided to at least give apple a shot especially since steam is coming to macs. so can you explain to me why a mac is superior to a pc.
