I think they fucked up by offering it only with AT&T.
So for many people to get it...they need to buy out their contracts with their present carriers. And who the hell wants to pay hundreds more when they can just wait for their contract to expire.
I used to be with AT&T....but threatened them with contacting the FCC if they wouldn't let me out when the got bought up by Cingular. Their service went to shit over night. I'm now very happy with Verizon.
The other thing...I would break the fuck out of the iPhone in weeks. I tore apart every phone I ever had until I bought my present one the Casio G'Zone.
The iPhone looks fragile as fuck. The work I do...cell phones can't hang.
Your first article mentioned someone unlocking it and disabling key features... that sure is worth it to have your new $500 phone not tied to a contract, but it's missing features.
And the second link is for buyers with bad credit who weren't sorted out at the Apple store... ah, your credit sucks, so were not putting you on a plan, here's prepaid instead. Wonderful!!
I've been calling you names... it's frustrating when I speak in english and people reply in idiot. For example, your responses trying to counter my posts were based on a one-year contract, which was exactly what I was proving FALSE... you counter your entire argument based on faulty logic, then you add your 's and 's... it's really quite ironic.
edit: I'm not an apple fan-boy, I own no apple products.
Are you slow? The guy I quoted asked "How does the iPhone cost $2000?" FIRST.
Then someone told him how (with the cost of the contract).
He replied with his one-year statement which was erroneous and totally irrelevant.
I quoted him to show him 1) how the phone costs $2000 over two years, and 2) to show him he was wrong about mentioning a one-year contract in the first place... holy shit, are you really this dense?
