Apple Cider Vinegar turning scabs and pimples white, and making some bleed?

When I apply Apple Cider Vinegar to my acne/picked scabs they seem to turn white. Sometimes, it causes picked scabs which were not bleeding to bleed. Nonetheless the vinegar is helping take care of my skin, I'm just wondering. By the way, my skin returns from being white about 5 minutes afterwards, but I'm still curious.
