App Update 1.0 N8 in Canada available?

Hi,

I bought my N8 from NewEgg.ca - product code 059C8T6.

The phone tells me there are no updates available - I've looked in -
* Device Updates
* Software Updates ( this tells me no updates available without even checking online first!)
* OVI Suite

Has anyone got the "App Update" for this product code - 059C8T6?

Yes, it's avaialble and I've installed it. Phone updates don't have anything to do with which country you are in. The availability of updates is determined by the product code.
 
I have product code 059D0V2, also purchased from newegg.ca and I did receive the update. Not that I'm sure it has done anything, mind you.
 
When I go to "Software Update" it instantly tells me everything is up to date. It doesn't even go online to check...

OVI Suite 3 tells me no software updates either :-(
 
I've updated it now. Seems Software Update only checks on internet after around 7pm at night, once. Before and after that SU just opens without checking online.
 
SW Update works at any time of the day. Howver, it does not check for updates every single time that you open it. If you've checked for upates recently (not sure what the threshhold is set to), it will not check for updates the next time that you load the application. In cases when SW Update doesn't search for new updates, it will do so if you try again at a later time.
