App release announcement: SMS Alert for custom message alerts

Hi everybody!



Maybe this information will be of use to anyone sending SMS and using Nokia devices.

SymbianGuru released new S60 application called “SMSAlert” that customizes the SMS tones according to the sender.



You’ll always recognize the SMS message sender by hearing the incoming SMS alert, as the tone chosen by you will be played when you receive SMS from certain contact or group.

We are preparing the version 2.0 already, planning to release the app for Symbian 3.

Yeah, this is that other site - symbianguru.com - that sounds like symbian-guru.com (the now-defunct blog).

Neither of them is a bad guy - they've both been using their respective names/URLs for ages and it doesn't appear either is trying to capitalize on the rep (good or bad) of the other ... as far as I can tell!
