I'm going to be a junior, and I am considering to take APUSH.
Problem is, I'm in summer school so I don't have much time to complete my APUSH summer work in 20 days. I tried reading the book I was assigned to read during the summer, but it's hard to understand. So now, I am thinking that I shouldn't take it and go for regular US history but it's the only AP class I could take during jr. year.

So, I was wondering, if my career goal was to become a pediatrician..
do i really need to take APUSH in college?
thanks

I took APUSH and it was the first ap class i ever had and if you have a decent teacher then it shouldn't be too bad. and honestly it all depends on the college you go to, most colleges will require some kind of a history class just for general credits that every undergrad student has to take. and if you get a high enough score on the ap test, then maybe you could get college credit for it and then have it count as your history class in college. so if you really don't' want to take history in college and think you can do well on the ap test then i would recommend taking this class, it will make college easier for you.

I highly reccomend APUSH. I had a great teacher and really enjoyed the class. It is not all that challenging for an AP course
