Who were the progressives?
isolationism?
realists?
and I idealists?
I just to know those things since Im lost in this chapter.
please give a an idea on what these subjects are about.
or a good link.
thanks!

We just covered this in my Ap US class! :p. Anyways the progressives were: a group of people pushing to reform, right before world war I, people like women pushing for suffrage and temperance, and the middle class americans. They wanted things like fair work for women and children and clean factory conditions. (better america for the people)
isolationism: america wanted to have a very small global role, or none. THey took no responsibility for America's role in the world.
realists and idealists: realists were anti progressives and isolationists, idealists were progressives and wilson who wanted to make the world safe for democracy by participating in WWI

Progressivists, were all about the progression age. They wanted the US to move ahead. Google it if you have to.
