Anyone who subscribes to consumer reports or knows much about Toyota Highlanders...?

I am looking to buy a 2003-2006 model Toyota Highlander & would like to know if any of these years get better gas mileage or have any issues listed. In other words, should I avoid any of those year models?
 
For reliability "Consumers Reports" (April 2009) shows all the V-6 Highlander models as being "Much better then average". For some reason only the 2006 model is on the best buy list. It maybe the price range for them more then a quality issue. Detracting from the score are the power equipment, paint and sound system. Which are not in the worse then average rating (they are "better then average").
MPG is best found at Edmund's ad CR does not state this in the issue I have in front of me.
