anyone ...vibrating feeling

my 19 year old daugher has been complaining latley of "vibrating in her butt"...at first we laughed it off since she says funny things sometimes, but she told me it has happened again...anyone else experience this? I told her she should make an appointment to see our family doctor. She is a college student, and has been under some stress latley...just got accepted into a nursing program and has started a new job at a major hospital...and has been training alot this last week,....dont know if its due to the stress.....any help?

I often feel like I'm vibrating when my anxiety levels are high. Sometimes I will get it in a specific area and other times it can appear anywhere. I've had this on and off for many years. I also got it when I was on too high a dose of anti anxiety meds. Once the dosage was adjusted it went away. I deal with it by acknowledging it's there but ignoring it. I know it's caused by my anxiety so I don't let it scare me anymore. It soon goes away when my anxiety levels are reduced. I hope this helps your daughter.

thanks....I think it from her stress too....but when you llook online at symptons and you see MS and other things it gets scary....she is going to have her doctor check it out....thanks for your input tho..makes me feel better!

Because you live in Wisconsin, I would suggest you talk to the doctor about the possibility of Lyme disease. Vibrations/purring/motor etc kinds of feelings are sometimes experienced by people with Lyme...and some parts of Wisconsin are considered high risk.

PS Lyme can be misdiagnosed as MS and MS can be misdiagnosed as Lyme, so do lots of reading because the docs aren't always up on the latest info.
