I saw this at the weekend, having (dubiously) enjoyed The Football Factory.
I think those who have seen it would share the same view ie, thought they were going to see a good vigilante flick, with a bunch of semi-hardnuts dishing out rough justice to the thieves, scumbags, grug dealers etc... as mentioned in the trailer. But though you expect this in the build up, it turns into a very dodgy gangster film, focussing on one plot strand at the expense of some of the more interesting elements i.e. vigilantism and the police / public reaction to it.
There was a ton of scope to explore, with the outlaws nearly getting compared to modern day Robin HooRAB. But real disappointed it followed the generic gangster flick route - if I knew this was the case, I wouldn't have bothered. Bob Hoskins was wasted.
Average then, as long as you know what you're letting yourself in for. 6/10.
