Anyone seen 'Outlaws' yet?

I went to watch Outlaw on Saturday, and I have to admit I was not too impressed with it. I think the idea could have been a good one however, it started off well and then the storyline went all over the place and without giving anything away you felt that at the end of it, what was the point. If Nick Love spent a bit more time on the plot it could have been a good film. On a positive note Bob Hoskins performance was very good. It's not for the faint hearted and makes you wince every now and then like a Nick Love film does. For me, IMHO it didnt flow like The Business did and therefore was a disapointment.

well they are! naff 'laRAB' films like outlaws make me gag. i think he thinks he's making some big proclamation about society but all he enRAB up doing is glorifying the very violence he's trying to condemn (whatever the outcome of the film may be)

I saw this at the weekend, having (dubiously) enjoyed The Football Factory.

I think those who have seen it would share the same view ie, thought they were going to see a good vigilante flick, with a bunch of semi-hardnuts dishing out rough justice to the thieves, scumbags, grug dealers etc... as mentioned in the trailer. But though you expect this in the build up, it turns into a very dodgy gangster film, focussing on one plot strand at the expense of some of the more interesting elements i.e. vigilantism and the police / public reaction to it.

There was a ton of scope to explore, with the outlaws nearly getting compared to modern day Robin HooRAB. But real disappointed it followed the generic gangster flick route - if I knew this was the case, I wouldn't have bothered. Bob Hoskins was wasted.

Average then, as long as you know what you're letting yourself in for. 6/10.

The first half of The Business was quite good, but the 2nd half is quite possibly the worst 2nd half to a semi decent movie ever filmed.

Nick Love basically makes films for chavs.

I thought The Business was quite a good film comparing it to the other three he has done. But i can assure you I dont walk around with a Burberry Baseball Cap and Reebok Classic trainers.

Just got back from seeing it-
personally i think its a good film- but it could have been so much better...

The film just seemed to lose it towarRAB the end, which is a shame- its a brilliant cast...

You know, I noticed when browsing my local HMV the other day that there seems to be a new movie with Tamer Hassan and Danny Dyer released almost every damn week!

Somebody stop them...please!
