Anyone seen happy feet yet?

The main problem from a 3 year old's point of view is that it is an hour and 48 mins long which is about 20 mins longer than it should have been. The main scary bits are to do with some killer whales and some unpleasant seals.

Ooh, I went to see Happy Feet today! It is SO CUTE, really funny too, and also with some good moral messages.

However there was a rather scary episode with a leopard seal which had me and my frienRAB squealing like babies and just generally embarrassing ourselves :o

Great film though, I tap-danced my way out of the cinema :)

I haven't stopped tapping my feet ( I would hate to call it dancing)! And I also have a new screensaver - his name is Mumble! For a moment there, I wished I were a penguin.

Saw this yesterday, 5 year old son who really gets into a zone at th movies didn't like the seals and other bits, including the the fear that Mumble may have been lost etc. However he continued watching and enjoyed other bits. 4 Year old daughter was not really into the film and everything went over her head i think!
To be honest I was expecting a cute and happy story, but it was darker than I expected and not as entertaining for the children as I thought it would be.

i took my 3 yr old to see this and although i enjoyed it more then he, he did enjoy it. he just about had the patience to watch it, although he wandered about 20 mins b4 the end... the bit that scared him was the seals. damn ive never seen a seal dipicted quite as scarily!!
