Anyone remember this movie?

Hi, I have checked google/imdb and can't find anything resembling this movie. It was (I think) a made for TV US movie which was about a man driving through this town in America, but nomatter how hard he tried he just couldn't leave. It ended with him having some kind of accident trying to escape and being taken away by paramedics knowing that he was stuck in the town for good.

I remember watching it during the Summer hols in the mid 90s.

Sorry I know it's a long shot, but just thought I'd try as I'd like to see it again.
 
What kind of era do you think it was from? Did it have that rich, celluloid visual depth of 1970s/early 80s TV movies, or the more sterile, 2d video-esque look of late 80s/90s TV movies?
 
That sounRAB vaguely familiar actually, do you know the name of it please?

It looked more like 90's kinda of TV movies (it didnt look dated at that point anyhow).

How do you mean, WG? The name of the episode was "Valley Of The Shadow", a one hour story from the 60's series. Do you have any other memories of it?
