Anyone remember Down To Earth/Monarch of the Glen?

I have a question - how did DTE end? I think i must've stopped watching it because last thing i remember the vet with the silver mini hooked up with the hot bar guy? And Denise Welch and Ricky Tomlinson came back from a holiday, and found out one of their mothers had died, which was kinda funny, cos it was like
*bursts into house of depressed people*
"WOOHOO who's died grumpies?"
"...Gran"
"...."
*awkwardness*

Also, can anyone tell me how Monarch of the Glen ended? Last thing i remember the Scottish woman with brown hair (Dawn Porter or something - now in Wild at Heart) was having an affair with her husbands brother/cousin/friend (not sure which)...
I think i stopped watching them around the same time and have tried googling but i can't find out what happenned :/

 Sexy Lexie(Dawn Steele).A bit different from her earlier role in Tinsel Town.:o
Don't know how it all ended. But i watched it for a few years.Total cheesy tosh. But it was perfect -disengage brain relaxing viewing on a Sunday night.
Beautiful scenery(The Cairngorms).Duncan always made me laugh and Golly always reminded me of myself(grumpy git).:D
Showing series 5(of 7) on weekdays on ITV 3 just now at 6.50 pm.

Im re watching Monarch of the Glen on ITV3 atm as I loved it originally

From memory Lexie played by Dawn Steele kissed her husband Archie's brother Paul then regretted it and left to go back to New Zealand where Archie and she were running some Vineyard.

Paul then had relationships with local women Isobel and Iona (Isobel was played by Simon Lahbib and was the better of the two but the actress had to leave due to real life pregnancy)

A great sunday night show I wish it would be brought back.
