anyone recognize this cartoon?

I've been trying to figure out where this cartoon comes from. He seems real familiar like he might come from an old tv commercial or logo maybe. Does anyone recognize him?

Ahhh, its killing me because I know I have seem him before, but where is a mystery to me. Things like this definatly remind me of my childhood when really old stuff like this still aired.....The Alvin Show anyone???

It just looks like generic clip-art to me. I've seen characters like that on numerous ads in newspapers and magazines. I don't think it's a character from any show.

You know something, I think your right! He does look like something I may have come across in the 80's in a comic strip or something like that in the sunday paper, or maybe even a silly ad in a magazine or something. Good call!
