Anyone purchased a 2011 CVO yet?

The wife and I test rode/drove a CVO Street Glide while in Sturgis. Overall the bike was very nice but you would want to do something to breathe life into the 110 engine. A little tinkering would make a huge improvement.

SO i saw one at a dealer for the frist time yesterday.. Jeeeeessssuuuuuusssss! It's got this , and that, and that, and this.... I thought the different, guage / fuel tank/ speaker set thing was pretty well done. The seat is beaultifll, and COMFY ! I thought the speakers in the lowers are little odd looking....to me that might be overkill. How loud do you want it???
The one i saw was the Autumn Haze / Antique Gunstock color combo....sort of a mix of creams and browns....the paint was stunning, the metallics, the stripe work...but NOT really the type of colors i would want on a bike. Anyone who knows Chip Foose from the HOt ROd world knows he built a car a few years back called the Grand Master (it won the Riddler Award which is like the superbowl of HOt Rods) The Autumn Haze reminded me of that car, again BEAUTIFUL but ot what i think of for a bike.
Wound up talking to a really nice saleman about the bike and it was interesting cuz i told him i had a 2010 SG, and although he did talk about what he liked about the 2011 CVO SG...he went on to say "you don't need this thing man..you alreay got a really nice bike... a few small tweaks here and there and it'll be all you ever need...just ride it and enjoy".... i was very impressed (not that i was seriously thinking about buying it) i think his statement makes him about the most honest salesman i've ever met..
Sure the bike is awesome.. WOuld i like to have one HELL YEAH... will i ever own one HELL NO... IMO it's beyond sensible
....here's a perspective.. if you put down $10,000....you're still looking at about $500 / month for 5 years

Just traded in 2007 Screamin Eagle Road King for 2011 Screamin Eagle Street Glide. Wow!! What a difference a new frame makes..... Awesome ride... Only question.... Any one else experience extreme heat on right side with stock exhaust? Thigh started getting very hot after 15-20 minutes.... Will true duals correct the problem? Leg never got this hot with SE Road King with same motor....but I had true duals on it.

If you wait Harley will offer the lower fairing with the speaker to retro fit non CVO glides and offer the batwing with the extra speakers there in it to make money so just give it time ....... maybe next year

Also the CVO is cool but not worth the price far too expensive .... As for being exclusive went to a rally last year and saw 6 Road kings CVO's all in a line Blues and Reds ..... go figure

yeah..i hear ya on that man.... $30,000 + and you can see one JUST like yours tomorrow? at the last open house i went to at my local dealer there were three matching pairs of CVOs in the parking lot.....
