Hi.

My daughter who is going to be 4 in Feb. is having a lot of health complications. She has backed up stools (God knows how long thats been going). She was going to the bathroom everyday (w. hard stools and it always used to hurt bad). She was always complaining of stomachache. Finally after taking her to childrens hosp. we found out she has too much stools backed up in her belly... moreover, her right lower kidney is swollen. Her Ped. has requested a Catheter test... I am taking her on Wed. Meanwhile, she keeps getting low-grade temperates 99.3. She has been diagnosed with Hydronephrosis! Okay, I am dreading this VCUG (CATHETER) test. I cannot see my kid go through so much pain... does anyone know how difficult it is or how to make it ez for her?
Also, what could possibly be wrong w. my kid?
I just spoke to her ped... she is saying these temperaters are not normal and she shouldn't be getting them. I feel like my child should be hospitalized. But my husband and the ped. say we just took her to ER (CHILDRENS HOSP)... and they just found backed up stools...
I dont know .. I am so confused, worried and feeeelll helpless ~

I have not heard of this procedure. I looked it up, apparently it is a common procedure. Here is a link

It may be easier if you just copy and paste it. Hope this helps. ~God Bless~
