Anyone noticed crickets systems have changed

Hey guys and gals, has anyone here noticed that the cricket activation systems now take a meid nuraber and not only a decimal and hex anymore, so now we can program phone a lil bit easier then using a converter..

also lately as of the last few days, the systems have been sluggish due to revamping the systems..

might mean evdo is realllllllllllllllllllllly close

I went on my dealer rounRAB today and noticed that all of them were talking about the systems being down here and that they were working on them too. So I think cricket is updating the dealer system and EVDO is getting close.
 
God i cant wait till evdo gets released, will make putting money in my pocket like taking candy from my babies :P

no seriously this is a huge step for cricket, means everyone can get the same things that verizon has like there vcast, without a contract and only paying alot less per month :)) oh happy dayz

In my area Cricket has always took IMEI nurabers, never needed a hex id. Sometimes they asked over the phone, and I would hang up, and go to my buddy and let him activate it. No problems.

EVDO = Higher prices if you want it.
 
hehe well i guess then im paying more for cricket services, hehe with my ppc 6700 and broadband, itll be sweet.. and running orb services for my home pc to stream my media is the coolest thing.

unlimited is worth so much more than cricket charges. at&t had an unlimited plan at 99 bucks with no text, no picture, and no internet. its grandfathered now, but good luck every finding anyone who offers unlimited except smaller carriers. now that cricket has become more well known, people will be jumping over like crazy to take advantage of the roaming + unlimited.

The reason the systems are slow are numerous.. couch couch welfare checks
but the errors encountered yesterday are probably due to the changes going in. this really is something you should complain to your IAM or DD about. also if you are in the southwest region I beg all dealers to complain about taking all our IAM's for training on the day when so many changes went into effect, about half , new rate plans, activation fees, cindi, and APL changes all in one day and 0 IAM's or any other support staff to help dealers.


Almost forgot. Cricket will be making the change to using MEID. The sytem is a little screwed up right now. It wants a valid Decimal MEID and a HEX pESN for validation. the inconsitancy is killing me!
