Anyone knows which frequencies are used in Poland/EU?

Hi, I'm in the US and thinking about purchasing SE K790a which is triple band 850/1800/1900 I'm with cingular here in the USA and phone would be perfectly fine to use here but i will be spending some time in Poland and some other EU countries (i'll be traveling there quite often and used quad band phone before so naver has been a problem for me) and i'm not sure if this phone will work there.
Does anyone knows what bands are used in Poland?
 
Europe and Asia: GSM 900/1800

It'd be best to stick with a quad band phone or tri band that uses 900/1800/1900. Get the K800i if you wish to stick with virtually the same phone.
 
I see Your point but since i'm with cingular here in the USA i also need 850 i had this happend to me on my trip to VA some time ago where i had with me samung d500 (three band) and i wasn't able to make connections while on the road because phone didn't support 850 - it was a real pain though so i guess i have to stick to quad band. i kind of like my other samsung D600 it's just damn battery on this great phone. It's weird how SE can make their batteries last soooo long while any other phone makers are having problems with it, in some cases it's ridiculous.

I had the same situation when I owned a K790a. I don't travel as much as you, but there are times when I had to, and the K790a just wasn't cutting it for me. I could've bought a K800i for use in Europe/Asia. But then the other one would just be collecting dust while the other was in use. The 3.2MP camera was nice to have, but it wasn't a necessity for me. So I downgraded to a K550i, which is quad band. Not a whole lot of difference with the exception of dimensions and cam quality between the two. I'm just sticking with K550i and patiently waiting for the K850i.
