Taurus for the first time and it doesnt? it doesnt stop right. Ive never done anything mechanical before, so I know very little. I saw a video, pulled off the caliper bolts, put the new pads on, compress the caliper to put it back on and i was done. When I drive it, you have to put the pedal almost to the floor and it slows down, doesnt really stop on a dime. My wife drove it and says that when you lay off the gas pedal, it almost seems to slow down without braking(yes i took the emergency brake switch off). She also seems to smell something funny. Any suggestions on why it doesnt totally stop? Why it seems to slow down on its own when you take foot off gas, and why you have to press far on the brake pedal to get it to sort of stop, Thanks
/Someone said something about a C clamp and reseting something... Did i need to use a c clamp, if so how and why.
all the mechanics told me that i didnt have to bleed the brakes..
