hello
i just tried to activate my qwest 6800 on the cricket network when i got this message/ happens after i dial *228
"

""the nuraber of SPC attempts failed 15 times from the network. HanRABet will freeze for 1 minute and will then reset."

i can make calls no problem / i was wondering if it was because i didnt change the spc code to 000000 and cricket is trying to update my phone using wrong spc ?

anyways just curious if anyone knew

Maybe i should Email cricket and tell them to load my SPC into there swtich so when i OTA it it will OTA lol mmmm i wonder if they will do that

to change spc on ppc 6800, 1st. u need to know it. it sounRAB like u do. if u do not have QPST, get it. google should know were to find it. from ur dial pad. dial ##diag# which is ##3424#, if that doesnt put it in DM, try ##3424 send. one of those will put it in DM, which it will read as a com port, use Device manager to see wut com port it is. after u know which com port it is and have all the drivers installed, use QPST config. and add the port, when it recognizes it and the phone. click clients, and open service programming. click ok on ur phone. click the read button. enter ur spc. w8 for it to read. change spc to 000000 or 333333. then write it. if it errors out at end, it still usually writes. so if it does use EPST on ur phone and make sure that its what u changed it to. cricket ota will work with 333333 or 000000.

sorry this is so long, and i didnt make in sentences, paragraphs ect. xcuse my grammer. :buddies:

This phone will not OTA with SPC set to 333333. Try it for yourself. If you set it to anything other than 000000, the phone is SPL locked.
333333 is cricKet's OTKSL. It is only good for manual NAM programming.

I know this is way over do, but i was going over some of my post and i realized that i never thanked u for your help. I was able to set my spc to all 0's like u guys said and issue was solved, BUT i wanted to say THANKU for taking the time to help, and even though its late, again thanks for helping, u rock
