Anyone know what the fuel pressure specifications are for a 2004 Ford F150 FX4?

I am about to replace the fuel pump but being that it is pricey I'd like to check the specs first. KOER is currently 32-35. Don't know if the fuel pump driver module has anything to do with it, too. The spare tire was loose and banged against the frame where the module is bolted on and it may have damaged it. The engine revs high right before engaging 3rd gear and seems like a tranny problem but mechanic says its a fuel delivery problem. Any help is greatly appreciated...
The mechanic tells me that the pressure should be 35-45 (Key On, Engine Running) but I've seen specifications for older models at 30 and some at 28, just haven't seen the specs for my model truck online. I'd just like something for reference since I'm still debating on replacing an otherwise good fuel pump. Transmission doesn't slip- just takes a little longer to go into third gear when I step on the gas, making it feel sluggish.

Before replacing the fuel pump take the truck to a actual transmission shop and have them test it. I have a 93 that jumps from second to third and its in the transmission. Not in the fuel delivery. If the transmission shop says its all good then call a dealership and they should be able to tell you what the fuel pressure should be. And from the sounds of it your mechanic is not very good if he doesn't know the fuel pressure rating.
