Anyone know what happened to Cyrket???

Hmmm I hadn't noticed that it was down. But in the meantime you can also use http://www.androlib.com/
I use both of them when needed. The only difference that I notice is that Cyrket seem to be a bit more up to date.

I have Cryket's RSS feed fed into Google Reader. The chart attached shows the number of items posted and read over the past 30 days. As you can see, the site seems to have gone down about half way through the 26th October (judging by it having around 1/2 of the usual number of posts). There were no posts retrieved on the 27th, very few posts on the 28th, hardly any on 29th, and zero on the 30th (today).

When Cryket went down, many people started using http://www.androlib.com/

After comparing Androlib to the new version of Cryket, I think Androlib has a number of advantages, such as the statistics for an app and the QRCode.

I prefer cyrket, it's updated, shows right version name and ALL comments.
Androlib doensn't show all of them (polish ones are out) and version name is old, although I asked (as a user) the update.

Take a look at 2 PhoneInfo's (our free app) pages on cyrket and androlib and you'll see the differences.

Cryket seems to be more up to date at the moment, I agree, but the site has just been updated. How often will they update the data? Every week? Month? Also it doesn't seem to offer any more information than the Market app that comes with Android, and without a QRCode does it really have any advantage over the Market app?

Androlib mines so much more additional information from the available data: User satisfaction, satisfaction level, distribution of comments by country/language, distribution of ratings with comments. See http://www.androlib.com/android.statistics.com-zirak-phoneinfo-qEEq.aspx for example.

You also get a QRCode, which is useful if you do actually want to download the app.

I too originally preferred cyrket. Then I got used to androlib and now I like it a lot better. I like the numbered pages at the bottom it makes it easier to navigate.

It has qrcode

In this case (additional info) you are really right, but eg on androlib Polish comments are not showed.....why? (i'm italian :P)

Ooops - I stand corrected. I hadn't noticed that before.

I'm not sure why they don't have Polish comments. It seems very strange because I imagine they just grab the data directly from the Market servers. I doubt it's deliberate.
