anyone know the name of this film

i'm trying to remember the name of a film I watched as a kid, as far as I can remember the story was of a WWII bomber which crashes in the desert, the apparently survive and the plot follows there day to day lives untill one by one they start dissapearing, until only one surrvivor is left. It turns out that the crew are actually ghosts and they disapear when the rescue party sent out to find they, find there dog tags in the wreckage of the plane. the last ghost's tags were under the tail section and could not be found.(they do eventually get found)

if anyone has seen this film and knows what it is called, please post here, its really doing my head in, lol. thanks
