Anyone know the correct torque values for caliper bolts?

Hi All,
I picked up some polished stainless bolts for my calipers from Diamond Engineering. Not the mounting bolts but the two bolts that keep the caliper halves together. I looked in the service manual but couldn't find the correct torque values for those. Anyone have any ideas?

I doubt you can find them from HD because the Brembo calipers are not rebuildable according to HD. Absent someone else chiming in with some reliable information, check with those who sell OEM calipers that have been chrome plated--they ought to know how to put them back together.

Pingman is correct.
There is no rebuild kit available for Brembo's, nor is there any info in the Service Manual.
I installed the Diamond Engineering Caliper Kit on my '09 RG.
I torqued the bolts that you question the same as the old calipers.

I can't help you with that.
My manuals are at my shop.
 
I was in the same situation when I replaced the caliper bolts on my chrome calipers. The ones from HD that came with the chrome calipers didn't look to good. The torque value of 10.7 ft-lbs is what I received from the manufacturer of the G8 polished stainless bolts that I used. I also double checked with a service mechanic at my dealer. The bolts came from Alloyboltz.com
 
OK sounds good. Thanks for the replies. I have to say though 10ft/lbs sounds low but is probably right. On the flipside I think the framing hammer torque is too high
 
I thought the 10.7 ft lbs was low at first but I believe that the calipers are alloy so too much torque could be costly. I have had no issues since I put them on 6 months ago.
