What is the deal is this the new trilogy of Vampire book is it because the warlock motif is over (Harry Potter)

I'm not sure if too many people were aware of its existence until recently. Of course this is mainly attributed to the hype over the film version set to be released in November. It is a saga not a trilogy and it has nothing to do with Harry Potter. While the two stories tend to attract the same audiences there also seems to be a rivalry between the audiences as well. However, I would say that there were probably many companies who were oh so eager to publish Meyer's book since they knew they could capitalize on the Harry Potter crowd.

I don't know about it being because Harry Potter is over. I think I enjoyed this series because she gives a fresh take on vampires and werewolves.

Its not a trilogy because the series has four books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn) with a fifth on its way in the form of Midnight Sun which is Twilight from Edward's perspective. I doubt that these stories have anything to do with Harry Potter seeing as how they depict two totally different worlds.

Asking if anyone knows Twilight is like asking if anyone knows Eragon. For the record, I place them both at the same (admittedly low) rate.

People like it because it's escapism, pure and clear. It's not the writing, it's the scene, the problem, the 'true love' thing.

And Edward.

He tends to drag people towards him.

twilight is about a vampire falling in love with a human and that is really bad. theres romance and aciton in it.
