Anyone know much about being a Navy AWV on the E-6B Mercury?

My son will head to Tinker AFB after Navy SERE training. Yes, I search the internet and have read a lot. But, it's always interesting to hear from someone who has been there. I'm curious about the length of training once he gets to OK and what the future might hold for this rate.
