anyone know how to reset to factory settings a fujitsu/siemens laptop?

Step 1
Power on your Laptop. Right as it starts up, note the BIOS access command at the bottom of the screen. It will ask you to press "F2," "F8" or "F12" depending on your motherboard.

Step 2
Once you have gained access to the BIOS, select the "Boot" menu. Select your DVD-ROM drive and move it to the top of the boot priority list. Exit the BIOS Setup Utility and be sure to save all changes. Insert your OS Installation Disc, then power off your laptop.

Step 3
Power on your laptop. The laptop should boot from the OS Installation Disc. Regardless of which Operating system you are installing, be sure to perform a complete install (do not select anything that saves data from the previous installation.)
