So I replaced the battery to my new car, and after that happened the display asked for a "code". At the time I didn't have the code and just entered random numbers out of frustration. Big mistake. Now I have the code from my dealer, but it displays "off", and when I enter the code nothing happens.
I think I triggered the Anti-Theft mechanism on it. I even disconnected the battery again, hoping that that would reset it so I could enter my code. I searched online and I found people saying to leave your car in the "I" ignition position for 2 hours and it will display "code" again. That didn't work either. Any suggestions? Please! I'm too broke to get a new stereo and I really want to listen to my CDs. Thanks Y'all!
