I am due for an upgrade and was wondering if I waited until the new tiered data plan is in effect, can I get a multimedia phone and not be required to pay the previous $9.99 montly data plan and do the pay as you go? Or... will those phones still REQUIRE a data plan. Also, will texting and picture messaging be counted as data or still be under the unlimited text & picture messaging??
Anyone know how new Verizon tiered data plan will work?
