Ok the lightening bolt that you see on the dash is for a fault with the ETC (Electronic throttle control) System. You need to take it to the dealer and have the throttle reprogrammed. This must be done at the dealer I don't know of any other way to do it. It will also have to have what ever the fault was fixed before this can be done. Hope this helps you.

Ok, so i noticed the car would not accelerate great when I drove it..a red lightning bolt came up on the dash...when i push on the gas petal, the car does not move..thought it was the throttle body..replaced it and it did not fix the prob..took it to get put on computer. Replaced the sparkplugs and senser plugs. Still not working...could it be the computer itself going out of it????sorry so long...desperate for answers!!!!
It idles real high in park and shuts off.
I did take it to dealership and they said it may need to be flashed. I have appt. next week to get it looked at again.
