Anyone know anything about possible electrical issues in a 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan?

New 84 month battery about 2 - 3 yrs ago. was sitting dormant from about Feb this year until about end of Sept-ish, with about 2 uses in there somewhere. Starts up with no problems and I moved it about 150 feet. I then gave her a bit of a pressure wash and was in and out of it during that time. Stays in that spot for another month and the battery's dead. Jumped her without a fuss and moved her to another spot about 10 yards away, and without even thinking about it just shut her down with out letting her just the battery up for a bit. I check the next day out of curiosity and there's no power on the dash at all, doesn't start. She sits there for about 6 weeks. The other day the gf comes by with her car to jump again. We hook them up, lights come on the dash, but upon start attempt they all shut down and doesn't even try to roll over. I guess corroded terminals and connections. Today I disconnect the battery, sand down all the surfaces, hook it back up. gf comes back by with her Sentra and we try again. Better results, close-ish to a start, though quite sluggishly feeling. ultimately no go. Neighbor sees our turmoil and offers his SUV to try. Much better attempt still, first attempt closest yet. I pause for about 2 more minutes, try again, and after a little bit of reluctance, she starts! Thank the neighbor, he packs up and leaves. I get in and rev to about 2K for about 20 - 30 secs, walk away for about5 mins. I come back, rev again, and when I let up, the engine slows down to a stop. Then she doesn't start again...weak lights on the dash.

any guesses?
