I'm thinking of getting an older jeep wrangler as a Second vehicle just to mess around with go off roading muddin trailin and stuff. I see that around 1997 they changed the interior which is no big deal to me but is a 4cyl gonna be able to get it on the trails with a set of 35's on it? Also is one year or group of years better for off roading than another? Also, I'm wondering if I buy one that's stock how hard is it putting a 6" lift on it. That seems to be the lift you need for clearance to put 35" tires on it. Am I getting in to more headaches than its worth doing that or just stick to a 4inch lift that will clear 33" tires and no adjustments are needed to brake lines drive shaft steering etc.
To further confuse things. If I was to put a 4" lift can I put a body lift on it without doing these adjustments??
I guess what the main question is- how much lift can you put on a wrangler suspension and body without buying new b/lines steering ext rods drive shafts and stuff.
Does anyone
